CebuPac's 250 millionth passenger gets P250-K, 25 free RT flights

MANILA – Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced on Friday it has reached a new milestone ‐- flying its 250 millionth passenger on Dec. 11. Upon arriving in Manila, Russel Capaniarihan, an overseas Filipino worker in Singapore, received PHP250,000 and 25 free round trip flights to any of CEB's domestic and international routes.

“This 250 million passenger milestone is a testament to the trust and loyalty of every Juan who has chosen to fly with us. It represents countless stories, reunions, and memorable moments made possible over the years," CEB president Xander Lao said during the welcome event at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Capaniarihan was among the passengers of flight 5J 814 from Singapore.



From Manila, she was bound for Bacolod to spend the holidays at home for the first time in 11 years. The Gokongwei-led airline said a photo wall hinting the milestone announcement was mounted at the Changi Airport for the passengers of flight 5J 814 to see. During the Manila-bound flight, there were games where passengers could win roundtrip tickets to any CEB destination.

Capaniarihan received another welcome from local representatives at the Bacolod Airport, the CEB said. (PNA).
