Cebu Pacific (CEB) has reminded its passengers on the proper usage of power banks onboard as required by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. Passengers may bring power banks with a capacity of up to 100Wh. For power banks with a capacity between 100Wh and 160Wh, passengers may request approval from the check-in counter.
For safety reasons, using and charging power banks are prohibited during the flight. Passengers must bring their power banks as a hand-carry item placed in their pocket or in the seat pocket in front of them. Power banks and spare lithium batteries are not allowed in the overhead bin or under the seat.
They must be hand-carried and packed securely by wrapping the terminals with electrical tape, placing them inside their original boxes, or placing them inside bags. "The safety and comfort of our passengers remain our top priority. For more information, please visit:bit.
