The partner of Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa, Kath Ebbs, has responded after Mickey Rourke was reprimanded over ‘homophobic’ comments aimed at the star.Rourke, known for roles in Iron Man 2 and Sin City, is currently appearing in the ITV reality show alongside Siwa. CBB producers have formally warned him about his recent comments, which aired on Wednesday night (9 April) and included other housemates he wanted to “vote out the lesbian real quick.
” He also told Siwa that if he’s in the house with her for more than four days, she “won’t be gay anymore.”While Rourke has since apologised to Siwa, who accepted that apology, Ebbs appears less willing to make amends. ” They said it had “literally taking me many hours to process what the f*** I just watched.”The DJ said they felt “so helpless” and wanted to protect and comfort Siwa. Ebbs also said, besides their “massive emotional stakes in his comments” that they are also “rooted in misogyny and violence.
”They continued: “If men deem you unf**kable, they have no use for you. If the male gaze is not a part of this situation and I have no power over you sexually – which also no offence, Mickey, you look like a f**king foot, so you don’t stand a chance with anyone anyway because you’re a f**king loser, then he’s like ‘Oh, I’m going to bully you.“You’re not going to play into my creepy jokes? OK, I’m going to bully you and say that I don’t want you here’.
And then he proceeds to call her a f****t. There are so many f***ing layers to that interaction, it makes me feel sick to my stomach.”Mickey Rourke and Jojo Siwa are in the Celebrity Big Brother house together.
(CBB)Siwa’s partner expressed some relief in Rourke being reprimanded by CBB producers for his comments. They also thanked TV presenter Chris Hughes for sticking up for Siwa and countering Rourke’s offensive remarks. Ebbs concluded their rant by hoping Brits would vote Rourke, who they described as “a pig and he is a dangerous person”, out.
Rourke’s comments have outraged fans, with some calling for him to be removed from the show. Siwa, who was left in tears, however, has been praised for handling the situation well.Celebrity Big Brother continues at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
