Celebrity Big Brother fans have slammed the first vote of the 2025 series after they accidentally chose to evict 'favourites' due to ITV twist.

Last night, the first celebrities in the Big Brother house up for eviction were revealed, following a day of nominations. Joining Mickey Rourke who was given a killer nomination by Jojo Siwa earlier in the week, Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) fans discovered Jack P Shepherd and Sir Michael Fabricant are now also at risk of being booted out. During Thursday’s episode (April 10), Sir Michael, 74, said he was “more upset” about being put up for the public vote “than losing the general election”.

He told housemates: “I’m quite enjoying this...

I’ll be quite sad (to go), (I’m) up against a Hollywood star and then a Corrie star. I don’t fancy my chances for remaining.” Ahead of the first live eviction with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best tonight (April 11), ITV viewers were given the chance to have their say.

Celebrity Big Brother voting twist sparks backlash among fans However, the first public vote of CBB has caused a major backlash on social media, as many fans claim they have accidentally voted for their “favourites” to be evicted. This is due to a voting twist, as in the civilian version of Big Brother, which aired last autumn, fans voted for the housemates they wanted to evict. While on Thursday night, they realised the CBB vote was a vote to save only, but it was too late for many.

The audience at home took to social media to air their frustration as they “didn’t realise”, as one posted on X: “Didn’t realise it was vote to save and gave 5 votes to Mickey...

” While this person asked: “why is celeb bb vote to save but normal bb is vote to evict?? #CBB” A second fan also wanted to know: “Why is #cbb vote to save?” “Should be vote to evict,” stated this CBB fan. Others shared: “i HATE that it’s vote to save, it should be vote to evict #CBBUK” Recommended reading: Calls for Mickey Rourke to be ejected from Big Brother for 'homophobic' comments Trisha Goddard to have cancer treatment while in the Celebrity Big Brother house Is Michael Fabricant wearing a wig on Celebrity Big Brother?
