Catahoula Wine Mixer celebrates wines from around the world

SHREVEPORT, La. - The rain clouds parted just in time for a fundraiser in south Shreveport where fun was flowing. Wines from all over the globe were the stars of the 8th annual Catahoula Wine Mixer.

Partygoers got to taste vintages from France, Spain, Italy and more, along with tasty nibbles. Music from Ryan Matthews helped to round out the experience. Organizers say this year’s beneficiary, Shreveport Green, is deserving.



Many of those attending say they appreciate events like this held in South Shreveport, because it helps to involve people from a wider area in Caddo and DeSoto parishes..
