For luxury brands, it seems like boutiques are no longer just temples to product. Designing a beautiful experience from start to finish for a client is the agenda du jour. See, for example, an impressive spate of openings in the city: the ambassadorial abode of Audemars Piguet’s AP House and Café, Richard Mille’s very cushy St Martin digs, Prada’s new emporium and Caffè, and Louis Vuitton’s exclusive L’Appartement.
The latest to join this growing list is Cartier, which has just opened the doors to its boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.Cartier timepieces on display on the second level of its boutique at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.Courtesy of CartierThe refreshed boutique by Cartier has now been redesigned and expanded.
The interiors come courtesy of Paris-based architectural firm Bidard & Raissi, who have designed the boutique as a serene oasis inspired by the flora and fauna of Singapore. As for the expansion, the maison has now taken over the facing unit on the ground floor, or what was formerly Montblanc, bringing its total footprint to 311 square-metres across two stories. The main entrance is intended for the second floor, which opens with a feature wall decoration of the maison’s signature panther set against a backdrop of Gardens by the Bay.
On this level, Cartier has brought together its fine jewellery, watches and accessories categories. Here’s where you’ll find its signature jewellery collections, like the Love, Juste un Clou, and Trinity; and its watches, like the Tank, Santos and Panthère; as well as leather goods, fragrances and home objects. The soft colours of the dedicated bridal and engagement space on level one, with a feature wall picturing hornbills, a symbol of love.

The first is a bridal area, decorated with a soft pastel palette and a feature wall of hornbills that symbolise enduring love. In here, the focus is unsurprisingly on diamond engagement jewellery.

The fact that the brand has set aside a full space speaks to a dedication to offering clients a delightful experience. This is where Cartier will offer services such as maintenance, repairs and personalisation on its jewels and timepieces—attention paid to making the journey of acquiring and owning one of its creations more pleasant.“Every corner is exquisitely decorated with a local touch,” explained Anna Yitzhakov, the brand’s managing director for Singapore, ASEAN and Malaysia.
The point being to “create a welcoming and exceptional client journey,” she added further, “an undertaking that the maison is committed to.”The post Cartier debuts a dedicated client care space at its reopened Takashimaya boutique appeared first on Vogue Singapore..
