Basketball legend Carmelo Anthony recently recalled a story about music icon Stevie Wonder that has many people laughing and some people questioning. During the latest episode of his "7PM in Brooklyn" podcast, Melo recalled that the 25-time Grammy winner once expressed to him just how much he loved "watching" him play. He said that one time Wonder was invited to the locker room and told him "I love watching you play, which immediately drew a laugh from his podcast crew.

"We in the (locker room), 'Yo, Stevie Wonder wanna meet the players,'" Anthony explained. "I come out, (Stevie) said, 'I love watching you play!'" For those that don't know, Stevie Wonder has been blind since he was a child. As a result, fans in the comments have either been laughing at Wonder's sense of humor, or wondering if the man has successfully been hoodwinking all of us for decades: When Stevie Wonder told Melo he loved watching him play 😭 pic.

Wonder holds the record for most Grammys by a male solo artist and even won an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1984. He is a member of the R&B Music Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is credited with helping to make Martin Luther King Jr.
