As MLB spring training looms, the 67th edition of the Caribbean Series will take baseball by storm, with play beginning on Friday, Jan. 31. The Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela — the four members of the Caribbean Professional Baseball Confederation — will each send the winner of their respective winter leagues to compete in the Caribbean Series 2025.

Japan, a special guest, is set to participate for the first time, rounding out the five-team field. Last year, Venezuela and the Tiburones de La Guaira won the Caribbean Series title; the Venezuelan representative has won two of the last three tournaments.
