Care home residents were treated to a visit from lambs and baby chicks. The animals from Pet Pals Therapy went to Lydfords Care Home, in East Hoathly, to surprise the residents living there. The lambs were free to roam around the care home’s lounge and residents were able to stroke and feed them.

"We knew that having the lambs here would be a bit of fun for all our residents, especially as some don’t want to go on outings in our minibus.

"We are always looking for new activities for the residents and today we have seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people."
