Vadodara: Vadodara car crash accused Rakshit Chaurasiya , who is currently under judicial custody, is likely to undergo minor surgery at the state-run SSG Hospital. Chaurasiya, a fourth-year law student, is accused of killing a woman and injuring eight others in a car accident on March 13 near Amrapali Complex in the Karelibaug area of the city. After the car crash, passers-by chased Chaurasiya and ensured that he did not escape from the spot.

Some angry locals also thrashed him before the police arrived and rescued him. On Monday, Chaurasiya was brought to the govt hospital for a medical check-up. "He was brought by the police for a medical check-up at our hospital.



He was suggested a minor surgery," Dr Hitendra Chauhan, Resident Medical Officer at SSG Hospital, said. "He underwent the check-up and was asked to come on Wednesday for a follow-up. Based on all the investigation reports and assessment by doctors, a decision will be taken," said Chauhan.
