Collectors appear to have snapped up McDonald’s collector’s cups within a week. 13. The only way to get them was by buying one of three Collector’s Meals, which included Big Macs, Chicken McNuggets or a Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich. Meanwhile, the New York Post and USA Today reported that sets of the cups are being offered for hundreds or even thousands of dollars on e-commerce websites like eBay .
Social media users on sites such as Reddit have weighed in with comments like, “They went super fast.” Some people say they are sold out nationwide, while others expect them to be restocked. McDonald’s is currently still promoting the Collector’s Meals on its website.
