So, when Dove Men+Care body wash came to me with the idea of a Skin+Dorsement, it just made sense. This is more than just a typical sponsorship where a logo gets added to your gear. It’s about recognizing your skin routine plays a crucial role in overall wellness and athletic performance.

I respect that Dove Men+Care body wash understands being an athlete isn’t just about physical strength or endurance; it’s also about recovery and taking care of your body so you can perform at your best. I love that this sponsorship embraces the idea that caring for your skin is essential, not optional. It’s more than just using a body wash; it’s now a key part of how I prep and recover.

Q: What’s your approach to skin care? A: Before this sponsorship, I didn’t pay much attention to my skin routine beyond the basics. But since I started using the new Dove Men+Care body wash, it’s been a total game-changer. The formula is sulphate-free and packed with moisture, keeping my skin hydrated and feeling comfortable all day.

It’s not just about looking good; it’s about hydrating my skin so I can focus on riding. Skin health is a part of overall performance. For athletes like me, the elements put a ton of stress on your skin, and if you don’t take care of it, it catches up to you.

Q: What are some of the other ways that you incorporate self-care into your wellness routine? A: For me, self-care is all about staying consistent. That means getting solid sleep, eating well, recovering properly, and checking in on my mental health. Whether it’s stretching after a ride, taking time to reset mentally, or just doing the little things like keeping my skin healthy, it all adds up.

Q: What’s your top hack as a snow sport athlete to keep your skin comfortable on the slopes? A: Honestly, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. I’ve always believed taking care of your body goes beyond training, it’s about a full-body approach to wellness. Q: Lastly, where’s your favourite place to snowboard in B.

C.? A: My favourite place to ride in B.C.

is Whistler/Blackcomb. It’s a great mountain to ride, access to some of the best backcountry in the world and equally awesome in all four seasons.
