Canada’s Brad Jacobs fell to Scotland’s top-ranked Bruce Mouat 7-4 in the World Men’s Curling Championship semifinals on Saturday.

Canada's Brad Jacobs fell to Scotland's top-ranked Bruce Mouat 7-4 in the World Men's Curling Championship semifinals on Saturday. Jacobs and his Calgary-based team of Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant and Ben Hebert secured a direct berth to the final four as the No. 1 seed.

Canada finished round-robin play 11-1. Its only loss was to Scotland in an extra end. Jacobs, trailing by one, went for a tough shot for the win on final rock, but missed.
