Camera club snappers take close look at archways

That was our latest weekly theme and it prompted a series of shots of landmarks from Oxford, and around Oxfordshire and beyond. There were plenty of bridges captured by our snappers including Magdalen Bridge in Oxford, and there was also a photo of one of the city's most famous arches - the Bridge of Sighs. The Bodleian Library was also featured, and a number of other well-known buildings.

Each week, camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club's Facebook page. A selection of photos are chosen to feature in The Oxford Mail, The and online, and one image is chosen as photo of the week. Club members recently compiled a new list of weekly themes for the coming year.
