Calgary will receive a snow dump on Tuesday until Wednesday morning, according to Environment Canada. Precipitation will begin as a mix of rain and snow this afternoon and condense into heavy snow by the evening. The snow will limited to 5 to 10 centimetres, but will exceed 15 cm in a few areas.
The dump of snow in a short period will make it difficult to commute in some locations, impacting visibility. Environment Canada advised Calgarians to take frequent breaks and avoid strain while clearing snow. The weather will quickly change following snowfall with temperatures touching 22C on Sunday and 23C on Monday.
