The Indiana Fever are set to face off against the Washington Mystics on Thursday, September 19, in their final game of the 2024 WNBA regular season. Indiana, led by their All-Star trio of Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, have already locked in the sixth seed in the WNBA Playoffs, so this finale will serve as a potential morale boost for the young squad. However, they are still awaiting their first-round opponent, which will be either the Connecticut Sun or the Las Vegas Aces.

Prior to the game in Indiana's media availability, Mitchell discussed her newfound popularity and credited Clark for it while revealing her nickname for the former Iowa Hawkeyes star.
