Caitlin Clark Cleared of Looming Suspension Trouble as WNBA Playoffs Start

Caitlin Clark's teammates had to hold her back from arguing with a referee in the second-to-last regular season game for the Indiana Fever, hoping to keep the star from receiving a costly technical foul. They may not need to try so hard once the playoffs start. Clark amassed six total technical fouls over the course of the WNBA regular season and a seventh would have given her an automatic one-game suspension.

But reporter Chloe Peterson of the Indianapolis Star noted that technical fouls reset in the playoffs, putting Clark back at zero as the postseason is set to begin.
