Derek Devers, Moline Township Assessor, was awarded the 2025 Outstanding Achievement in Property Assessment Award by the Illinois Property Assessment Institute in recognition of his long career, contributions to the industry and dedication to the people of his township. Devers received the award at the institute's 67th annual state conference held in Normal.
Devers has worked in property assessment for 12 years and has served as Moline Township Assessor since 2020. He previously served as deputy assessor in Hampton Township. He also volunteers with numerous community organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley.
