Burnt Hills native publishes Adirondack fire tower challenge book

It all started at the county fair. Rather than be enticed by the fried foods or thrilling rides that capture the attention of most 11-year-olds, Terry Hynes was beguiled by the model fire tower found at the fair’s outdoor display exhibit. Thus began a decades-long fascination with the structures.
