Burger King’s latest menu item might pickle your fancy

Celebrate — which is today! — with something dilly and deep-fried at the drive-thru. Burger King confirmed to TODAY.com that it has added Pickle Fries to its menus nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.

The new item comes hot on the heels of the , which gives customers a $1 Whopper deal as well three new Whoppers to try: Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper and Mexican Street Corn Whopper. Burger King tops the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper with shoestring fried pickles — so it decided to offer the topping as a side dish, too. These Pickle Fries are made by battering and breading dill pickle spears with a savory seasoned coating then deep-frying them.



They’re served with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch. Early reviews of the briny bites seem to be pretty positive. “You guys, I know this is weird, but the pickle fries, you have to try them,” one reviewer on TikTok.

“If you love pickles, try them.” “If you’re into fried pickles, you’re going to be into this,” another TikToker. “Burger King got pickle fries,” one X user.

“They pretty good too.” This menu addition should come as no surprise, as Burger King has served up its fair share of unconventional fries. Mozzarella Fries, Chicken Fries (in ) and (a combo of fries and onion rings) have all made appearances on its menu.
