Bugandi Secondary School emerged victorious in the recent marching competition, securing the coveted Best Marching School Group title. The event featured a fierce battle between secondary and primary schools vying for the top three positions. Bugandi was closely followed by Busu Secondary School in second place, while Omili Primary School claimed the third spot.
Mr. John Pascal Henry, Regional Manager for Theodist, the competition’s primary sponsor, expressed his enthusiasm for the event. “It was an absolutely fantastic display of talent,” he said.
“We hope to see more schools participate in these kinds of performances, allowing them to improve their skills.” Henry added, “Theodist is committed to supporting educational initiatives like this. Education is at the heart of our business, and it’s always the right thing to do.
” Schools that participated in the competition included Malahang Technical Secondary, Bumayong Secondary, Bugandi Secondary, and Busu Secondary. Representing primary schools were Omili Primary, Huonville Primary, Omega Primary, Bowali Primary School, St. Paul’s Primary School, Taraka Primary School, and Tokaraa Primary.
