BUFFALO, N.Y. — The City of Buffalo and Erie County have issued a Code Blue for Saturday, Jan.
25. When the temperature drops below freezing or 15 degrees Fahrenheit, it triggers one of two alerts, Code Blue 32 or Code Blue 15. Emergency situations near zero degrees or with extreme weather trigger additional response.
The overnight warming shelter locations for Saturday evening: The daytime warming shelter will be open on Sunday, Jan. 26 and located at the following: Code Blue clients will be permitted at the NFTA METRO Transportation Center from 5 p.m.
- 7:30 p.m. to obtain bus tickets to the Code Blue Shelter when Code Blue is called.
