The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to get the win in Week 2 of the regular season, as they beat the Detroit Lions 20-16, and they have their defense to thank. Mark J. They went for it on fourth down, and Jared Goff completed it to wide out Jameson Williams, but Bucs defensive backs Jordan Whitehead and Christian Izien were able to stop him short of the line to gain. However, the Lions had all three of their timeouts left, and were able to force the Buccaneers to punt on their ensuing drive after they stopped them from getting a first down. So, it all came down to one final drive from the Lions, and the Bucs were able to get the big stop.

Brown in the middle of the field, which made it second down. The Bucs were then able to force three straight incompletions, which made the Lions turn it over on downs yet again. This win means the Buccaneers have gotten revenge for the Lions knocking them out of the playoffs last season, and it also means they have started out the season 2-0 for the fourth straight year.
