Buchsbaum thanks residents of 69th House Dist. for their support

Thank you to the residents of the 69th House District for putting your faith in me to serve as your next state representative. My campaign focused on shared community values and issues important across Bridgewater, New Milford, Roxbury and Southbury. Addressing the high cost of living in Connecticut, prioritizing public safety, and ensuring our well-run towns maintain local control over local decisions will remain priorities as I work to be your strong, common sense voice in Hartford.

I am proud that my message resonated across the political spectrum, and to have received support among Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters on Election Day. It is important that we focus on our shared values, build consensus, and work together for the betterment of our communities. Thank you to the many supporters, volunteers, family, and friends who contributed to the campaign’s success.



Whether you offered advice or encouragement, wrote a letter, held or placed a sign, worked on mailers and ads, made phone calls, knocked doors, or collected signs on election night, your collective effort had a resounding impact and is so appreciated. A special thanks to my wife Lauren and sons Anthony and Noah. This campaign would not have been possible without your encouragement, sacrifice and support.

Thank you to the many elected leaders throughout the district who signed onto our campaign, giving it strength from day one, through the primary, and then Election Day. Thank you to Ed Edelson for a spirited campaign. We spoke after the election and he offered congratulations and best wishes.

Lastly, my heartfelt thanks to the residents of Southbury for your unwavering support and encouragement over the years.
