BSE reveals measures to encourage investor participation in stock market

Baku StockExchange (BSE) wants to attract more private individual investorsto the securities market to increase their share in the stockmarket to 10-15 percent, the head of the Board of Baku StockExchange CJSC Ruslan Khalilov said at a press conference, reports. “We forecast the figure for individual investors for the period2024-2026 for 165 million manat ($96.9 million)," heemphasized.

Khalilov also mentioned that the BSE is working on improvinglisting rules. “We are thinking about the fact that even those companies, whichfor several reasons do not meet the minimum listing rules and havenot proved stability, would have an opportunity to get into ourlisting after upgrading. Moreover, our work to clarify the listingrules is going in this direction,” the head of the BSE boardadded.
