Bryson DeChambeau completed his quest to hit a hole-in-one over his $2 million Texas home on Day 16 of the challenge. DeChambeau began the challenge on Nov. 13 as he tried to hit an ace from the front of the house onto a putting green in the backyard.

The rules were simple enough: as the days passed, he would get as many chances to complete the challenge as days he’d been attempting to do it. Wednesday was Day 16 of DeChambeau’s attempt to hit a hole-in-one, which he had come close to at times over the previous 15 days. DeChambeau had been documenting his attempts each day on his social media channels as he attempted the herculean task, which eluded him until he finally accomplished it in the video he posted Wednesday on his 14th attempt of the day.

The shot bounced onto the green and then rolled into the cup. The golfer began cheering jubilantly and went running toward the backyard from where he had set up his shot in the front. “Are you kidding me!” he screamed as he sprinted to the back of the house.

DeChambeau kissed the ball and then tossed it in the air after he fished it out of the cup. He had come close several times along the way before sinking the shot in Wednesday’s video. DeChambeau has generated a large following aside from his recent success on the course.

He has become a popular figure on social media platforms due to the golf-related content that he posts. DeChambeau also posted a video of himself playing a round of golf with Tom Brady on his YouTube channel. DeChambeau captured the U.

S. Open crown this year at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina.

He had also finished in the top 10 at Masters..
