Brynn Whitfield is entering the podcast game, and she joked there might be an ulterior motive behind it. “From Shep [ Rose ] to Tyler Cameron , there’s one thing that I’ve learned. I cannot flirt with people in public because then for the next six months it’s like, ‘What’s going on?’” the Real Housewives of New York City star, 39, exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the release of her “Please See Below” podcast.
“Though I just did that, I flirted in public on my first episode. I kept saying, like, ‘I was a podcast virgin before this.’” Whitfield teased that her first guest on the podcast, which drops Wednesday, March 19, is “hottie from Bachelor Nation” Jason Tartick .
“He’s so handsome and I could feel his abs when I hugged him, so I got really thrown,” she admitted. “But I had a really fun conversation with him, and he’s great and amazing and super smart.” Related: RHONY's Brynn Whitfield Will No Longer Date ‘Athletes, Actors or Alcoholics’ The pair’s “transparent conversation” tackled the topic of how love and money are “intertwined.
” According to Whitfield, her and Tartick’s banter got a little flirty , which might make listeners believe sparks were flying. However, the reality star confessed that Tartick, 36, is now a “dear friend” of hers. But she’s not saying no to other potential suitors joining her for a one-on-one chat.
“I was thinking part of me wants to use the pod sort of like ‘The Chicken Shop’ podcast. Should I just use this as a way to date people? It’s not really a podcast, you guys, it’s just actually a giant scheme for me to date people,” she joked. “Because people fall in love on podcasts!” As for how Whitfield’s dating life is going now, she told Us it’s been stagnant since “there’s less guys” in her DMs.
“That was unfortunate. I was really excited,” she shared. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, this is going to be so great.
’ A lot less guys in the DMs.” But that’s not her only struggle. Whitfield confessed that some men that she’s been out with get confused when she tells them she’s a Real Housewife but has never been married.
“When I tell them what I’m doing, they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s so cool. My mom watches it or my sister watches it,’ or something,” she said. “And then the follow-up question is, ‘Wait, but you’re not actually married, are you?’ And then I have to go into the history.
” Whitfield will continue to appear on RHONY while she also does her podcast. She’ll dive into topics like love, money, sex, business, relationships, and more. “The last season, I feel like both seasons that I’ve had the privilege to be on RHONY , it’s been like you’re seeing parts of me,” she told Us.
“Now you’re going to get the full context, even the information you maybe don’t even want — the footnotes, but all of it will be provided below the signature line.” Thank You!
