Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming Willis got real in her recent Instagram video, in which gave her opinion on the healthcare system and some other things

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis recently took to Instagram to share an update with her followers, but this time it was about her personal health. “So I'm sick I have a cold. I want my mommy,” she said at the beginning of her Instagram video before she touched on a more serious topic.

“I received a call from a very prominent doctor the other day letting me know that he has a family who’s just been diagnosed with young onset Alzheimer’s and they have three children...

and that he needs all of my resources any contacts,” Emma explained. Emma admitted that initially she was confused, but then realized she was in a position to help. “I have the contacts and nothing makes me happier than to be able to be of service and to support the next caregiver which I happily passed on,” she explained.

Although Emma was happy to help the family the doctor was inquiring about, she shared what “boggled” her mind about the entire situation. “The thing that just boggles my mind is how do our doctors not already have a Rolodex of ways to support caregivers,” she ranted. “So that is something I can’t wait to dig in to.

..it’s just is so upsetting to me when I receive messages from families that have just been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia or some type of dementia and they’re asking me for my resources,” Emma continued.

She noted it’s often difficult to help those asking her for help for a particular reason. “I’m not even as the same state as them, same city,” Emma admitted. “It’s very hard to sort of pass on those resources except to like the Association for Frontotemporal Dementia or things like that .

.. She went on to say, “doctors need to do better,” as she explained how they could do so.

“Doctors do really need to have a roadmap of just some support,” Emma explained. “Which is exactly the reason why I wrote my book is because I was handed a pamphlet. I was not handed a resource and we gotta put an end to that.

” Emma’s passion for this topic most likely stems from her own experience with a loved one who was diagnosed with dementia. In 2022, Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia, but since then the Hollywood star’s condition has progressed to frontotemporal dementia.
