One of the best ways to experience this is through a balcony in one’s bedroom. That way, if there are fireworks, the northern lights or a striking blood moon, unobstructed views are only a few steps away. This opportunity is available in the Brubeck.

Measuring 1,032 square feet, this townhome model is part of Brookfield Residential’s Range multi-family complex. This is part of Rockland Park, a community roughly 10 minutes by car from both WinSport and major commercial development Crowfoot Crossing. There are two bedrooms on the Brubeck’s second level.

Its primary bedroom features a front-facing balcony. This is accessed through a door with a glass insert just to the right of the bed. Even without something special occurring outside, it’s easy to imagine the occupant of that bedroom enjoying this amenity as often as the weather allows it.

For example, the wall in the space where the bed is located jots out beyond the entrance to the balcony, and the ceiling is angled. This wall also contains a large window and a smaller rectangle-shaped window next to it, welcoming considerable natural light. In the show home, this room stands out even more due to its striking tree-themed wallpaper.

Both bedrooms include an ensuite. The master ensuite features an elegant shower with full-height tile. These bedrooms flank a laundry area.

This is a handy location, making it easy for a clean load of laundry to be brought to both rooms. Like the master bedroom, sunshine is a theme on the open-concept main floor, as well. In the living room, windows cover the side wall and there’s one on the front-facing wall.

This gives the impression that the gathering space extends to the outdoors, making it feel larger and even more inviting. The focal point of the living room is a contemporary elongated fireplace surrounded by full-height tile. Above it, there’s room for a large art piece or family portrait.

The aforementioned side wall reaches the kitchen. This charming, galley-style cooking area boasts an island beneath pendant lighting with a sink and seating for at least four people. This spot will be a favourite for family or friends when hosting them for dinner on a Friday or Saturday night.

Its setup is highly functional, making it easy to pivot from the sink to the stove top, then to the fridge, with ease. The domestic chef, in particular, will value how easy it is to access all of the kitchen’s main components. Its appliances are stainless steel, including a fridge with french doors and chimney-style hood fan in front of glossy full-height tile.

The half bathroom is located at the base of the stairs to the second level, separating it from the busiest parts of the main floor. Guests, in particular, will appreciate this layer of privacy..
