Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson is out for the year after a torn Achilles, which thrust backup Jameis Winston into the starting role as he returns to New Orleans, where he spent four seasons on the roster. Several players appeared on the weekly injury report for Cleveland, including guard Joel Bitonio, who was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but a full participant on Friday. tweaked a knee and was limited on Thursday, but missed all of practice on Friday. Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is dealing with an injured finger on his throwing hand, but did not miss any practice this week. For the Saints, guard Lucas Patrick missed all week with an ankle injury while linebacker Pete Warner missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices, but was just limited on Friday.

Defensive back J.T. Gray, center Erik McCoy, corner Kool-Aid McKinstry, wideout Cedrick Wilson Jr.

and linebacker Nephi Sewell were all listed as questionable heading into the weekend.
