Brittany Mahomes Sends 3-Word Message After Chiefs-Buccaneers Game

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-24 in a thrilling overtime win on "Monday Night Football." However, the game was a rollercoaster of emotions for Chiefs Kingdom, as quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a non-contract injury after throwing a touchdown pass to Samaje Perine early in the fourth quarter. While Mahomes needed assistance off the field and backup quarterback Carson Wentz started warming up, the three-time Super Bowl MVP walked off the ankle injury and was back on the field during the very next offensive drive.

For Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, who was sitting next to Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift , at Arrowhead Stadium when he went down, the moment was obviously stressful. In a video posted on TikTok, fans watched as Brittany embraced the "So High School" singer following the Chiefs' touchdown. However, moments later, after noticing Mahomes was on the ground grabbing his ankle in pain, "Patrick's hurt," Brittany says, as both women's covered their mouths in shock.

The Kansas City Current co-owner, who's pregnant with the couple's third baby, proudly rocked her husband's jersey number on her jeans and matching jacket.
