A British Airways flight attendant has faced significant backlash after being labelled "heartless" for a purported confession regarding the transportation of Liam Payne's remains. The late 31 year old tragically lost his life after a fall from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room in Buenos Aires on October 16, succumbing to extensive traumas that resulted in catastrophic haemorrhage. However, the attendant is reported to have crossed a line by discussing details about those on board their November 6, 2024 trip from Argentina back to Britain.

Allegedly, she notified her online audience with the message: "Just been told we're carrying a coffin with us today," followed by the revelation: "To then find out it's Liam Payne's body and his family are on our flight too, heart-breaking." According to The Sun , this breach of strict airline regulations has led to her suspension from her duties at British Airways. They alleged: "This stewardess cares more for her online social media following than her job.

She has been brought to the attention of bosses due to previous posts. It is a serious data breach, not to mention a callous and heartless move to tell the world of Liam's final journey for the good of her online following." A spokesperson for the airline said: "We are investigating this matter so it would be inappropriate to comment further.

" The Wolverhampton-born star, Liam, was laid to rest earlier this week in Buckinghamshire, not far from his old home. His grief-stricken parents, Karen and Geoff, were accompanied by his sisters Ruth and Nicola, along with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Cheryl Tweedy, reports the Mirror. Insiders revealed that while the congregation at the beautiful Amersham church paid tribute to his generous acts and lovable nature, they were overwhelmed by an "unfathomable loss".

Post-funeral, a witness said: "Liam's former One Direction bandmates stood shoulder to shoulder, visibly mourning as they shared quiet words and comforting hugs. Simon Cowell, visibly upset, was spotted offering support and likely heartfelt condolences to Liam's loved ones amid the collective sorrow." Liam's family pulled out all the stops to ensure his memorial service was a fitting homage to the singer's life.

The Buckinghamshire church service included special touches that celebrated Liam, with traditional flower arrangements and candles complemented by more personal tributes. A standout feature greeted mourners as they entered: a striking floral arrangement depicting bowling pins struck by a ball—a nod to Liam's well-known passion for bowling, which he enjoyed on his 31st birthday on 29th August this year. Additionally, cars arriving at the church sported Batman stickers, signalling Liam's documented affection for the caped crusader—a hero some fans believe Liam was "obsessed" with.
