British Actor Russell Brand Responds To Rape, Sexual Assault Charges

April 05, (THEWILL) – British actor and comedian, Russell Brand, has denied the allegations of rape, indecent assault and sexual assault made against him by the Metropolitan Police. The charges relate to four separate women and incidents that took place between 1999 and 2005. In a video uploaded on X, formerly Twitter on Friday, Brand thanked his fans for their support and declared that he had never been a rapist or engaged in non-consensual sex.

Additionally, he expressed his gratitude for the chance to defend the charges in court. “Of course, I am now going to have the opportunity to defend these charges in court, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. “What I never was, was a rapist.
