The group made the development during their two-hour concert held at one of the hotels in Kigali on December 8, where music and storytelling were seamlessly intertwined. Group president Jean Marie Vianney Mugwaneza confirmed plans for a European tour, crediting German-based Rwandan guitarist Deo Salvator for bringing the idea to their attention.

“Salvator has been performing in Europe and, when I met him in Germany, he encouraged us to take our performances abroad. We are planning at least six concerts across Germany,” Mugwaneza said. Known for their beautiful harmonies and thoughtful arrangements, the B5S used the concert to connect with their fans and share songs from their upcoming album, ‘Humura.

’ The album addresses mental health issues, particularly the lingering effects of post-genocide trauma in Rwanda. Pacis Ndahiro, a member of the group and a classical pianist, shared how their experiences, growing up in Rwanda, influenced their desire to address such themes through music. “The album reflects our personal journeys and the struggles we have witnessed.

We aim to use music as a platform to inspire healing and hope,” he said. Bright 5 Singers have always been about more than entertainment; their music carries powerful messages of hope, faith, and resilience. Their December 8 concert was yet another testament to the power of art in bringing people together.

Since their inception in 2015, the group has released two albums, comprising a total of 30 songs. They have also hosted numerous live concerts, both independently and in collaboration with other musicians.", "author": { "@type": "Person", "name": "Shallon Mwiza" }, "publisher": { "@type": "Organization", "name": "The New Times", "url": "https://www.
