We are tracking a breeze Saturday throughout the region to start the weekend, which will continue to pick up as a cold front approaches. Before the front, winds stay out of the south at 15-25 mph for a gusty day, with highs in the low 70s. We will see the sunshine early on, but a few clouds will move in by the afternoon.
As the front slides through in the evening, winds will swing out of the west with a chance for widespread showers and a rumble of thunder to develop before nightfall. Then to wrap up the weekend, we are still seeing the wind stay gusty and out of the west Sunday, with highs in the 50s and staying sunny for most on what looks to be the coolest day ahead in the forecast. ADVERTISEMENT Throughout the week, we see the sunshine continue to linger, overall leading to another stretch of dry and mild weather with highs in the 60s and 70s heading into next weekend.
