Much of the Northland will see a mix of sun and clouds Thursday, with the best chance of sunshine coming in the afternoon. Winds will remain out of the northwest for much of this week, and on Thursday they will stay around 5-15 mph. We will begin to feel a cooldown on Friday, as winds will be around 10-20 mph throughout the day.
By the afternoon, we will see plenty of sunshine, but temperatures will remain in the single digits with wind chills below zero. ADVERTISEMENT That chilly trend will continue for much of the weekend, with the sun peeking through at least daily. However, high temperatures will stay in the single digits with overnight lows dropping below zero.
By next week more clouds will move in, but we do not have much of a warmup in sight for this first chilly stretch of 2025..
