Mikey Madison was not the only one surprised to have won Best Actress. The actress was nominated alongside four other actresses, Cynthia Erivo, Karla Sofía Gascón, Demi Moore and Fernanda Torres for the category. Emma Stone, who won the award last year, presented the award and when she said Mikey's name, the Anora actress could not believe what happened.
She was in shock and stunned. Mikey quickly hugged her castmates and director. She admitted that the moment was "very surreal" and that she was nervous.
