ESPN's Field Yates put together his first two-round mock draft of the 2025 NFL draft cycle. So who did he have the Indianapolis Colts selecting?Let's break down Yates' selections for the Colts and give our instant takeaways.Colts pick at 14: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn StateA common pick for the Colts, and it's easy to see why.

Warren would provide the passing game boost that the Colts need at tight end, but his well-rounded skill set makes him a very good overall fit for Shane Steichen's offense.Warren is a versatile player who can line up across the formation, including in the backfield. He's also a very capable blocker.

That do-it-all ability at the tight end spot adds some unpredictability to an offense.Steichen recently described what he would ideally like to have at the tight end position, and it sounded a lot like what Warren can offer. The big question, however, is whether he will be available.

"Enter Warren, who crossed the 200-yard threshold on the ground and had 700 of his 1,233 receiving yards come after the catch last season," wrote Yates. "He chews up extra yardage with a combination of power, tenacity and quickness that is tough to imagine from a player of his 6-foot-6, 256-pound size."Colts pick at 45: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLAESPN's Jordan Reid also recently mentioned Schwesinger as being a good fit for the Colts.

Schwesinger has special teams experience and has been a very sound tackler throughout his career, something the Colts could use more of at linebacker. As a coverage defender, he allowed a completion rate of 77% at 9.4 yards per catch with two interceptions and two pass breakups--showcasing good range.

With EJ Speed in Houston, the starting spot next to Zaire Franklin is up for grabs. Maybe Jaylon Carlies can fill that role, but there should a competition for that playing time. Linebacker is a sneaky early-round need for the Colts.

"Schwesinger broke out last season with 115 tackles, becoming an All-American for UCLA and showing exceptional range, coverage instincts and sideline-to-sideline speed," Yates wrote. "And the fit makes sense because the Colts lost E.J.

Speed in free agency."This article originally appeared on Colts Wire: NFL draft: Colts' picks in Field Yates' latest 2-round mock.
