BREAKING: Big blow for Limerick hurlers as goalkeeper Nickie Quaid suffers serious knee injury

THE Limerick senior hurling management team has confirmed this Sunday morning that star goalkeeper Nickie Quaid has suffered a serious knee injury. In a statement, the management team confirmed that Quaid underwent a scan on Friday last that confirmed he has 'suffered an ACL injury.' The management team wished Nicky Quaid 'the very best in his recovery and assure him of our total support in the months ahead.
