Wadettiwar after 19 rounds of received 92,684 votes while BJP's Krishnalal Bajirao Sahare got 83,770 votes. The Bramhapuri Assembly constituency, one of Maharashtra's 288 Vidhan Sabha seats, is situated in Chandrapur district and has been part of the Gadchiroli–Chimur Lok Sabha constituency since 2009.
