Bradford native and former Bulls ace Kopczak finally retires aged 38

Bradford native and former Bulls ace Craig Kopczak has retired at the age of 38, leaving Oldham to end a stellar playing career which lasted nearly 20 years.

Bradford native Craig Kopczak has finally retired at the age of 38, as the prop left Championship side Oldham with immediate effect on Monday. Kopczak spent most of his career in Super League and it all began for him at Bulls in 2006, as he made his first team debut for the club at the age of just 19 having come through their academy. He played for Bradford 123 times over seven seasons, before leaving at the end of 2012 and going on to serve Huddersfield, Salford and Wakefield with distinction in the top flight.

Kopczak has spent the last few years with Featherstone and Oldham, helping the latter win the Betfred League 1 title in what turned out to be the final full season of his career..
