Pune: A three-year-old boy, Vishnu Jadhav, tragically lost his life after being hit by a car at an under-construction site in Manjari Budruk, Hadapsar, around 4pm on Friday. Senior Inspector Sanjay Mogale of Hadapsar police station told TOI, "The car was driven by a tile contractor at the site. The driver rushed the injured child to a hospital, but Vishnu succumbed to his injuries before arrival.
His father worked at the construction site." Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the driver and issued a notice for cooperation in the investigation. CCTV footage revealed that Vishnu and two other children were playing when they suddenly ran across the site.
