The duo have left Runwell Sports to replace James Collins in charge of the Isthmian Premier Division side and are no strangers to the Len Salmon Stadium. Flowers was part of Rob Small's management team when Bowers won Isthmian North while Wilson made 126 appearances for the club. And they are both delighted to be back with Bowers.

Flowers told the club's website: "It’s a great privilege to be given the opportunity to come back to Bowers. "The club is somewhere that I was fortunate enough to experience my best moments in football during my time working under Rob Small, Garry Henty and Rich Bates. "Bowers is a club that both Wilson and I have always had a great love for, it has given so much to us both on and off the pitch.

"We will both be working relentlessly to give back to the club, players and its supporters." Wilson added: "This is a conversation I had always hoped would come along and its presented itself earlier than expected. "This is a club I have an enormous affection for, having helped me shape a fairly good career having been a bad footballer and average defender who loved to head and tackle.

“Myself and Flowers are keen to bring life and progression back to Bowers with a pathway for those that are good enough. "I live for last minute winners and games of football on a knife-edge so we will do all we can to make it enjoyable. "We hope to bring everyone together with a view we are all heading in the same direction aboard the same train for survival.

” Bowers are second from bottom in the table and host eighth placed Folkestone Invicta this weekend..
