Times News Network Ludhiana: Police booked three women and an unidentified aide for duping a boutique owner of Rs 15 lakh in the name of senior police officers. The victim, Sarita Goyal , filed a police complaint , after which a case was registered against Jaspreet Kaur of Jagraon, Amroz of Galib Kalan village, Harwinder Kaur of Kothey Sherjung village and an unidentified accomplice. The complainant, Sarita Goyal said that her husband is an arhtiya, commission agent, while she runs a boutique. The accused women were her customers at the boutique.
She said that on November 9, 2023, Sadar Jagraon police lodged an FIR under sections 420 ( cheating ) and 498-A (husband or relative of woman subjecting her to cruelty) of IPC against her, her husband Jugal Kishore Goyal and son Kashish Goyal on the complaint of their daughter-in-law’s father.
