Amal Neerad ’s directorial ‘ Bougainvillea ’ starring Kunchacko Boban , Jyothirmayi, and Fahadh Faasil, which hit the big screens on October 17, continues its run in the cinemas. The makers have now dropped a success teaser, aiming to grab more attention from the audiences. The teaser offers a peek into Reethu's dilemma as she struggles to distinguish between reality and imagination.

Directed by Amal Neerad, ‘Bougainvillea’ revolves around Reethu (played by Jyothirmayi), who is suffering from retrograde amnesia following an accident and is pivotal in the investigation of missing girls. The film also has actors Sharafudheen, Veena Nandakumar, and Srinda in pivotal roles in the film.
Tovino Thomas starrer ‘2018’s early OTT release disappoints fans ETimes rated the film 3.5 out of 5, and the review reads, “Bougainvillea, if you watch it without reading Ruthinte Lokam by Laijo Jose, from which it was inspired, can fool you in the first half if you aren't careful.
