Border czar defends deportations to Arizona lawmakers

PHOENIX -- Border czar Tom Homan told Arizona lawmakers Thursday that he and the president are not at all sorry about rounding up and deporting everyone who is here illegally, regardless of whether they are guilty of any other offense. "I read every day about what a racist, hateful thing that is to say we have a mass deportation operation,'' he told a joint session of the Legislature. But Homan said it follows four years of mass illegal immigration under the Biden administration.
