to 3:30 p.m., Nov.

23 Led by pollinator advocate Jane Collister, the workshop will guide participants in creating their own nursery kits, which include 12 pots, high-quality soil, and wildflower seeds such as bee balm, echinacea, lavender hyssop, black-eyed Susan, and more. Each kit features a wooden frame with garden mesh to protect the seeds from birds and mice while they harden off outdoors. Participants will learn to construct the frames, fill the pots with soil, and prepare seed packets, with instructions on starting and maintaining the nursery throughout the seasons.

The kits require minimal effort and provide everything needed to grow enough seedlings for an 8-foot by 12-foot garden plot. The cost of the workshop is $35 to $45. Grateful Forest, 10 a.
