Bolton motorway link road was closed after multi-vehicle crash

A motorway link road was closed this morning, Sunday, after a multi-vehicle crash. The collision happened on the link road between junction one of the M61 and junction 15 clockwise of the M60 near Kearsley at around 5am, which was temporarily closed. Link road from #M61 J1 to #M60 J15 clockwise ( #Kearsley ) is closed following a multi vehicle collision.

Road users advised to exit #M61 at J3 and follow #A666 (M), #A666 southbound and rejoin #M60 J16. pic.twitter.
