A Bolton business was one of 20 selected to exhibit at a Greater Manchester business festival. Circle of Trust was part of the chosen few at the Festival of Enterprise, the 'largest entrepreneur event in the city region.' The event, which took place last week, welcomed more than 500 attendees to the Royal Exchange Theatre .
Susanna Lawson, co-founder of Circle of Trust, said: "I had an amazing day and signed up at least 30 new businesses to our digital word-of-mouth recommendation app." The festival, organised by GM Business Growth Hub, is a celebration of entrepreneurial passion, attracting start-ups, entrepreneurs, sole traders, and the self-employed. Ms Lawson joined business leaders such as Nadine Merabi, creative director of her namesake fashion company, and Amman Ahmed, founder of Music for Pets , who shared their entrepreneurial journeys.
Yvonne Sampson, head of enterprise at GM Business Growth Hub, said: "This event was specifically designed to celebrate and amplify the amazing entrepreneurs and small businesses we have here in Greater Manchester. "From the expert workshops to a pitching corner for businesses to showcase their ideas and products – every aspect was about creating an environment where people can feel proud about what they do. "It was an absolute pleasure to have Circle of Trust and the other businesses exhibiting and sharing their journeys on the day.
" EnterprisingYou, GM Business Growth Hub’s flagship support programme, has supported more than 4,000 entrepreneurs and small businesses across Greater Manchester since 2020..
