Bodies of man and woman found in Sydney shop

They have not been formally identified but are believed to belong to a man and a woman in their 70s.

Police have launched an investigation after two bodies were found in a shop in Sydney’s west. Officers from the Nepean area command arrived at a shop on Oxford Street in Cambridge Park just before 10am on Saturday and found the bodies of two people. They have not been formally identified but are believed to be those of a man and woman in their 70s.

A crime scene was established and police and the homicide squad have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Residents observed a large police and ambulance presence on the street, while helicopters circled above. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
